I love to play volleyball, in fact i am a player of Filipino Nurses team in the last conference of Filipino Women Volleyball League under BAP Organization.. It so happend lang na hindi natapos yong conference namin due..
Now, I want to play again kahit na sa ibang org. kaso lang wala akong connections dun.. In short, wala akong kakilala.. I can't make my own team so maybe makikisali nalang sana ako or should I say salimpusa.. hehehehe...

There will be another basketball tournament this coming July, same league, same venue. This time it will be an open inter-company tournament. Any interested company can inquire at the said place of event.

Al Mailem-sponsored FPBL 2nd Conference rolls off
KUWAIT CITY : The Fahaheel Pinoy Basketball League (FPBL) 2nd Conference, sponsored by Al Mailem/Toyo Tires kicked off Friday at the indoor facility of the Fahaheel Sports Club. Eight teams: Pag-Ibig Fund, Unisteel, Q8 Jokers, KOC Eagles, Freightliner, OLMG, Toyo Tires and Fil-Am Kuwait will be seeing action the single round-robin tourney. The tournament opening got underway an hour behind schedule but was nevertheless successful what with a good crowd in attendance and two representatives from league sponsor Al Mailem Tires gracing the event and doing the honors of tossing the ceremonial first ball. Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait HE Ricardo M. Endaya also arrived after the opening ceremony, to briefly grace the occasion. In the customary search for best muse and best team uniform, comely Katleen Lucero of the Freightliner team who works as a flight stewardess for Kuwait Airways was the winner while Unisteel took home the Best Uniform trophy.
Team Unisteel took to the floor against Pag-Ibig Fund for the inaugural match and emerged triumphant with a 62-52 win, getting double digit outputs from Ramillo with 14, Romero 11 and Mondejar 10 points. Pag-Ibig Fund was paced by their playing assistant coach R. Indoc and player number 12 whose name was not listed on the scoresheet. The league sponsor’s team, Toyo Tires also had an auspicious start when they wiped the grin off the Q8 Jokers’ faces with a 50-46 win in the second game meeting. The tire dealers rode the combined double-digit production of number 17 Ng and Henry Onofre who had 11 points. Bong Dulay and Arnold tallied 12 points apiece for the losing Q8 Jokers.
Another opening-day winner was the Fil-Am Kuwait squad who thumped OLMG 73-64 in the day’s final game. Leading Fil-Am Kuwait to the convincing win were Rainer Manuel who knocked in 17, MacMac Mariano 14, Carl Lopez 13 and Besavilla 11 points. Arman Gadia was the lone OLMG player in double figures with 13. Next Friday’s schedule pits the Q8 Jokers with Pag-Ibig Fund in the first game followed by Unisteel versus Fil-Am Kuwait, Toyo Tires against OLMG, and Freightliner taking on the KOC Eagles, in that order. Co-sponsors of the FPBL Second Conference are: Gulf Paper Manufacturing; Hamed Y. Al Essa Trading Co.; Highway Center Supermarket; Al-Bahah Supermarket; McDonald’s; and Mass Kuwait-Filipino Restaurant.

The opening went well. My team, Unisteel, bagged the best uniform trophy and we also won the first game. Our opponent, Pag-Ibig Funds, was a tough nut to crack. The game went into overtime but eventually, we prevailed.
