1. There Will Be Blood - Oscar Best Actor for Daniel Day Lewis. This guy rocks! Set in 1890s which revolves around the oil industry in that period and the rise to power of Daniel Plainview.

2. 21 - reminds me of "Good Will Hunting" in a subtle way. A group of gifted MIT students trained to count cards in black jack. They weekly storm casinos in Vegas for the thrill and the money.

Thanks for the recommendations. They sound like really good movies.
I'll definitely watch 27 Dresses. I'm into funny movies these days just to get a break from all the stess of everyday life. Although a lot of the comedy movies can be a bit corny or sometimes stupid.
Beowulf, because it's different and because I love Angelina Jolie and because she's naked in the movie!
10000 BC, don't think I've heard of this one but it sounds interesting. My 2 yr old son will probably like this as well.
Untraceable, I saw the trailer of this movie and it's one that stayed in my memory. Just curious if there's such thing as untraceable in the cyberworld.
I like Diane Lane, she is a classic beauty, one of those women who age gracefully and of course a very good actress. I saw Unfaithful, even then she was not that young but she portrayed the role so well.
Just wondering, how did it made you guys feel watching the movie. I don't mean the steamy scenes (I already know how it makes people feel!) Did it ever cross your mind that it could happen to you or to anybody. What would you do?
Anyway, before I completely get sidetracked ...where was I? Yes, August Rush, have no idea what this is but since you recommended it, I'll watch it and lastly Vantage Point, saw the trailer, looks like a good one. Oh, about Forest Whitaker, I just remebered, I'd like to watch The Last King of Scotland too.
I'm not really into Scifi, I only watched X-Men because of Mystique, whew! an amazing figure she's got.

1. Vantage Point - A movie about the assasination attempt on POTUS. A unique type of storytelling since you are taken back to the event from different standpoint (i.e. POTUS, bystanders, Secret Service, Assasins etc.). Dennis Quaid is givin' Jack Bauer a run for his money.
2. 27 Dresses - If you love to watch Grey's Anatomy, this one is for you. Stars Katherine Heigl as the perpetual bridesmaid. Izzie delivers a funny performance besting herself in her other comedy movie "Knocked Up".
3.10000 BC - Good cinematography and special effects!See the mammoth and saver tooth tigers come to life.
4.Beowulf - A film created thru motion capture process. This movie doesn't only makes you appreciate this new technique in film making but also makes the story of Beowulf much more interesting.

1. August Rush - I highly recommend this Ivy, you won't regret watchin' it.
2. Cloverfield - Promising at the start but gets annoying at the middle part. Quite dizzying to watch coz of "blair witch project" camera effect.
3. Strange Wilderness - Don't waste your time on this movie. A comedic disaster starring Steve Zahn.
4. National Treasure 2 (Book of Secrets) - Entertaining! Indiana Jones meet Dr. Robert Langdon. Good for people who loves conspiracy theory.
5. Untraceable - Diane Lane suspense thriller with Colin Hanks (son of Tom Hanks) as FBI agents dealing with cyber crime. I still love Diane though her age is cathin up on her. Oh I love her steamy scenes in the movie "Unfaithful".
6. Jumper - A perfect movie for Hayden Christensen. If you love "Heroes" then you will fall in love with this sci fi movie. Imagine having his power! awesome....
