If you like Thai food, the best restaurant to go is Pattaya in Dawliah Complex in the city , the food is superb and it's not expensive. You probably heard or have been to this place already but for those who haven't been there yet, try it out. The place is nothing fancy, they have plastic chairs and tables and it's like eating in goldfish bowl but what the heck you go to a restaurant for the food right?
Now if you like nice ambience you can go to the Blue Elephant at Hilton Hotel. The food is not impressive and it's bloody expensive. On Valentine's day my husband and I spent 90 KD for four people and the food was served cold.
Thai Chi at the the Movenpick Hotel in Gulf road is another one we went to. Expensive and mediocre food. I heard it's closed. I'm not surprised.
