Re:Transfer of residency - 2009/03/29 09:43
Hi akiko, welcome to the forum site..

Let me share with you my ideas.

How many years po ba ang contract that you have signed with your company? Un po kc tlga ang importante. For example, 2 years po ung contract nyo. It means n pwede na po kayung makakuha ng release, if they will refused to give you one pwede po kayung pumunta sa SHoun to file a complaint against your employer. I'm sure, they will be at your side lalo na at attested yung mga papers mo (Make sure na attested din e2 ng Kuwait Ministry). Kung more than 3 years nman po ang contract nyo, which is valid pa untill now, i dont think so na makakakuha po kau ng release from them. Unless nlng po if there's a ground of violation committed by your employer. I have no idea po about sa ministerial decission 170/2008.

Yan lng po ang ideas ko, i hope na you found it helpfull in any way. Please take note nlng po na, sometimes, khit nsa tama po tayu wla po tayung laban lalo n kpag ung nkakabangga ntin ay mga "wasta"-oriented people.

One more thing, I suggest you to see and talk with Labatt Jimenez sa Phil. Embassy po. Mas mabibigyan nya po kau ng concrete explanation regarding sa mga questions mo. He's very accommodating po, that's for sure.

Ingat po Kabayan...

i have been hired by my company directly from Philippines. I have been working with this company in the (Kuwait Free Trade Zone) for the last three years. I am a degree holder with my certificates attested. Am I eligible for a release? If management refuses a release can i approach shoun, if yes how should I go about applying to shoun for a release and what documents should I attach.
