Filipino Badminton Gained Support from Western Union |

| | In a meeting held at the Holiday Inn Downtown on June 17,2007, Minodin expressed its commitment in the upcoming endeavors of FBC as he also expressed his company's concern in the welfare of the Filipino community. He was also looking forward to have a better communication and partnership with other Filipino organizations in Kuwait. On the otherhand, Umandap assured the Western Union in fulfilling their commitment in bringing out the best of Filipinos not only in badminton but also the Filipino culture of sharing and caring.
As a proof of it, he informed Minodin, that the portion of the amount of sponsorship will then be turned-over to the "Adopt-a-Hometown School project benefiting one of the elementary school affected by the recent typhoon in Bicol, which was selected and recommended by FBC Spiritual Adviser Fr. | Earlier, FBC also donated one complete set of computer desktop to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office. On the next tournament, the beneficiaries will be the Daughters of Charity Orphanage in Manila where abandoned infants with birth defects are being taking care of.
Furthermore, Dr. Umandap announced its forthcoming activities as follows; June 22, 2007- Singles Category Finals and Awarding at the Hawally Disabled Club. July 13, start of its Mixed Doubles Tournament with Western Union as its major sponsor. On September 28, FBC will formally open its "Inter-Company Badminton Tournament-Team Category".
